DevOps Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of Linux/Unix administration, advanced networking, and modern DevOps practices. The successful candidate will have extensive experience with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, scripting, cloud infrastructure management, and infrastructure as code (IaC). This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving complex technical challenges.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Extensive experience in managing and troubleshooting Linux/Unix systems.
- In-depth understanding of server configuration, firewall setup, and secure network architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficient in using CI/CD tools like GitLab, Github Actions, Jenkins, and managing version control systems like Git.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (i.e. Bash, PowerShell, Python).
- Knowledgeable in AWS, Azure, or similar cloud services, and experienced with IaC tools like CloudFormation and Terraform.
- Proficiency in using monitoring tools such as SonicWall, WhatsUp Gold, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
- Proficiency in using tools like Ansible, Puppet, and Chef.
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as Vmware vSphere, Proxmox, qemu, and KVM.
- Proficient in creating clear and detailed documentation for technical processes and infrastructure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Upper intermediate level of English, both written and verbal.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Linux/Unix servers, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
- Implement and manage network architectures, firewalls, and security protocols.
- Utilize containerization and orchestrate deployments using Docker Swarm and Kubernetes.
- Develop, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab, Github Actions, and Jenkins, integrated with version control systems like Git.
- Develop and maintain scripts in Bash, PowerShell, Python, YAML, and JSON for automating processes and tasks.
- Design and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms, employing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform.
- Set up and maintain monitoring systems for network and application performance using tools like SonicWall, WhatsUp Gold, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack. Implement security best practices across all server configurations.
- Use configuration management tools (i.e. Ansible, Puppet, Chef) to automate server setups and maintenance.
- Deploy and manage virtual machines using platforms such as VMware, Proxmox, qemu, and KVM.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure setups, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
