Oracle/PostgreSQL DB Developer
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with one or more databases from the list: Oracle, PostgreSQL
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in database application development
- Practical experience in data modeling and writing the stored code
- Practical experience in the performance tuning of database servers
- Good written and spoken English (Upper-Intermediate)
In addition, the following skills will be a plus:
- Experience with databases: SQL Server, MySQL
- Experience with DWH, BI, ETL systems
- Experience with AWS cloud
- Experience with Python, bash script
- Experience in administering database servers and operating systems (Windows, Linux)
Responsibilities
- Tasks of the migration of database objects, code, auxiliary scripts and data from Oracle to PostgreSQL (+ RDS, Aurora)
- Performance tuning of migrated applications on the PostgreSQL
- Participation in the development of products/tools for working with different DBs
