Middle Program Manager

ABCloudz is looking for a Middle Program Manager to join our team and lead customer-facing modernization programs, driving end-to-end execution of complex initiatives across higher education clients.
This role is a great fit for a hands-on Program or Project Manager who is comfortable working within enterprise software or cloud migration environments. You will manage multiple workstreams, coordinate with technical teams, provide visibility to stakeholders, and ensure alignment with customer objectives.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Program or Project Management managing enterprise level projects across multiple operating teams
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Proven success in managing medium- to large-scale technology programs involving multiple stakeholders
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, enabling effective engagement with diverse stakeholders
- Solid understanding of software development life cycles and practical experience with both agile and waterfall methodologies
- Effective leadership skills, with the ability to manage both technical and non-technical teams
- Experience working with cross-functional, global teams and navigating ambiguity in fast-paced environments
Will be a Plus
- Background in cloud modernization and application migration initiatives
- Understanding of software development stacks, including databases, programming languages, and application technologies
- Experience delivering technology projects in the education or higher education domain
- PMP and/or Scrum certification
- Practical experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to improve project management, delivery processes, documentation, analysis, and decision-making
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional programs to deliver a variety of solutions within the higher education domain
- Develop and manage program plans, timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies
- Coordinate with technical, business, and customer teams to align on program goals, deliverables, and milestones
- Identify and manage dependencies and integration requirements, including third-party applications and services
- Facilitate effective communication between engineering teams and customer stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution
- Drive issue resolution and maintain accountability throughout all phases of the program lifecycle
- Own program reporting and executive-level updates, including key metrics, status reports, and escalations
