Tech Lead .NET Software Engineer

Remote, EMEA

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead .NET Software Engineer to join our team and play a key role in developing enterprise-level solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for building microservices-based software from scratch, utilizing the latest LTS .NET 8 framework and MS SQL databases. You’ll have a direct impact on our technical architecture, design standards, and product quality, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes.

Project description – the Marketing System (TMS) is a custom software application (ERP) that supports TMSC’s Sales and Order business processes including customer contract management, sales order management, product allocations, shipments, finished goods and packaging inventory and QA data. Current project is the start of re-platforming and re-architecting phase from the scratch based on technical artifacts from the Discovery phase that was done by ABCloudz company.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of proven experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Strong proficiency in the .NET ecosystem, including .NET Core, ADO.NET, Dapper, and Entity Framework
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-scale projects, particularly ERP or similar systems
  • Hands-on experience with transactional and high-loaded distributed projects with micro-services architecture
  • In-depth knowledge of relational databases, particularly SQL Server
  • Proficiency in designing for on-premise solutions, including deployment strategies
  • Excellent understanding of software development life cycles, agile methodologies, and DevOps practices
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and utilize technical documentation
  • Demonstrated ability to provide technical guidance and promote best practices within a team
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
  • At least Upper- Intermediate level of English

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, and delivery of an ERP system using the Microsoft tech stack
  • Develop fault-tolerance, maintainable, and testable solution for on-prem installations
  • Provide technical direction and mentorship to the development team
  • Breaking down and distributing tasks among the subordinates
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and design principles
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently
  • Collaborate with Solution Architect, BA, DevOps, QA, and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery

Will be a plus

  • Familiarity with reporting tools like SSRS
  • Knowledge of middleware and integration frameworks for ERP systems
  • Experience with front-end React frameworks is a plus
  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices for on-premise solutions
