ABCloudz is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solutions Architect. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative, scalable, and reliable solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical leadership across database platforms, cloud environments, and system architectures to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions that meet complex business needs.

Responsibility:

• Design and develop robust data-driven solutions tailored to enterprise needs, leveraging over a decade of experience in data architecture and solution development.
• Lead end-to-end architecture planning for OLTP systems, data warehouses, and enterprise applications while enforcing high standards in database design, development processes, and coding best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams during solution design and implementation phases.
• Architect and optimize solutions using at least two major database platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, DB2, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Work across diverse operating system platforms including Windows, Unix/Linux, and mainframe environments to ensure compatibility and performance of enterprise solutions.
• Design cloud-ready and hybrid architecture models with proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and a working understanding of DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable architecture blueprints and implementation roadmaps.
• Conduct hands-on administration activities such as database backup and recovery, performance tuning, job scheduling, capacity planning, and troubleshooting to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
• Engage in product development or consulting engagements to deliver tailored architectural solutions that meet client-specific needs.
• Contribute to the design and deployment of secure, scalable, and maintainable server operating system environments as part of broader solution architecture.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience designing or developing data solutions.
• Expertise with architecture and design of enterprise data-driven applications while providing technical leadership for database design, OLTP, and Data Warehouse implementations, with design, development process, and coding standards.
• Deep knowledge of at least two database platforms: Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, DB2, PostgreSQL, MySQL.
• Experience with multiple OS platforms like Windows, Unix/Linux or mainframe.
• Good familiarity with either one of the cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) or other enterprise IT environments with a DevOps practice.
• Experience capturing and documenting business and technical requirements and existing architecture and creating future state implementation documents.
• Hands-on experience performing several of the following: backups, recovery, capacity planning, upgrades, job scheduling, performance tuning, and troubleshooting in a database environment.

Experience in product development or consulting delivery engagements is a big plus Experience in design and build server operating system solutions.

Preferred Skills:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Two levels of the certifications mentioned above (Associate + Expert).
• Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
