We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our data and analytics team. This role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining reliable data pipelines and supporting reporting efforts through detailed analysis of data warehouse and reporting logic. The ideal candidate will have experience working across multiple platforms including Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SSIS, and SQL Server.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven experience with SQL Server (including writing and optimizing complex queries)

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Databricks

  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Databricks

  • Experience developing and supporting SSIS packages

  • Familiarity with analyzing report logic in EDW or BI environments
  • Strong understanding of data integration, transformation, and data warehouse design principles
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Will be a plus

  • Experience with source control and CI/CD in a data engineering context
  • Exposure to modern data lake or lakehouse architectures
  • Understanding of data governance and security best practices

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain data extraction and transformation pipelines across structured and semi-structured sources
  • Develop and manage workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, and SSIS
  • Analyze existing EDW report logic to support accurate data transformations and reporting outcomes
  • Ensure high data quality, integrity, and consistency across platforms
  • Collaborate with report developers, business analysts, and data architects to understand data requirements
  • Troubleshoot data issues and optimize pipeline performance
  • Document pipeline workflows, logic, and design decisions for long-term maintainability
