ABCloudz is seeking a skilled and proactive Full-stack application engineer to provide regular support as-needed for for a critical business application. This role requires expertise in frontend and backend technologies, specifically in React, CSS, HTML, Webpack, C#, and MSSQL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application support and maintenance, experience as a database engineer, and be available during Pacific Time business hours. Although there is a 24x7x365 team for monitoring issues and handling customer-submitted tickets, the Application Developer will be a critical escalation point for complex issues during Pacific Time business hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Monitoring and Maintenance:
- Ensure application stability with the 24×7 monitoring team.
- Address performance issues and anomalies.
- You should be receiving the issue/request, clarifying the request with the business, analyzing the fix/enhancement, handing it off to EE team to implement the code
- Feature Enhancements:
- Implement and enhance features per client requirements.
- Database Maintenance:
- Manage SQL Server database.
- Perform backups, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity.
- Security Updates and Patches:
- Apply security updates to the application and database.
- Ensure compliance with security standards.
- User Support and Training:
- Provide support and training for end-users.
- Create documentation and conduct training sessions.
- Performance Optimization:
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Optimize code and queries.
- Codebase Management:
- Maintain application codebase using version control.
- Conduct code reviews and uphold standards.
- Integration Management:
- Ensure seamless system integration.
- Reporting and Analytics:
- Develop and maintain SSRS reports.
- Disaster Recovery Planning:
- Maintain disaster recovery plans and processes.
- Compliance and Auditing:
- Ensure regulatory compliance and conduct audits.
- Documentation:
- Maintain and update application documentation.
- Environment Management:
- Manage development, testing, and production environments.
- Client Reviews:
- Conduct regular client reviews and gather feedback.
Requirements:
Oracle Forms:
- Comprehensive understanding of the structure and architecture of Oracle Forms.
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining applications using Oracle Forms.
PL/SQL Proficiency:
- Expertise in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
- Skilled in writing and debugging stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
Frontend Development with TypeScript:
- Extensive experience with TypeScript, including the use of classes, interfaces, and factories.
- Capable of designing and implementing complex client-side logic.
React Development:
- In-depth knowledge of core principles and development approaches using React.
- Experience in creating and maintaining component-based applications.
Server-Side Programming with C#:
- Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework.
- Experienced in developing and maintaining backend services using C#.
Database Management Systems (DBMS):
- Proficient in working with Oracle and MSSQL databases.
- Experienced in database design, development, and maintenance.
Desirable Skills and Knowledge:
Oracle Forms to Web Applications Conversion:
- Participated in projects involving the migration from Oracle Forms to web technologies.
Modern Frontend Technologies:
- Familiarity with the JavaScript ecosystem, including npm, webpack, and Babel.
- Experience with CSS/Sass and HTML5.
