Picture a doctor with world-class scanners at hand but stuck juggling clunky apps just to see the results. In radiology, scheduling, imaging, reporting, and dictation often sit in separate software products. If every exam means logging in, searching again, and closing windows by hand, that is not a workflow, that is punishment. Radiologists should be spending their focus on what the scan reveals, not on whether the right software window is open or if yesterday’s study is still hanging around on the screen.

Visage 7 is one of the fastest, most advanced image viewers out there, but on its own it still demands extra clicks and distractions because it is not integrated with other software tools. That is why together with our customer we have been building a platform that takes all those separate tools and unites them into a single workflow. A workflow where radiologists spend less time juggling applications and more time doing what they do best, reading images. Along the way we have already connected the platform with many widely used radiology systems. In this post we will share how we integrated it with Visage 7.
Our vision for Visage integration
Our customer, a healthcare technology company, set out to cut through the daily chaos by building a platform that pulls all critical tools into one place. Instead of bouncing between apps, radiologists get a clear path from exam to report.
With Visage 7 in the mix, the plan is simple. Click an exam in the platform and both Visage and the reporting tool spring to life with the right exam. Finish dictation and everything slips away on its own, leaving the screen clean. Less clicking, more autopilot, and doctors stay focused on the patient’s scan instead of managing software.
How we built the Visage 7 integration
Bringing Visage into the platform was all about making it behave like part of the team instead of a soloist. We wired it so that logins, opens, closes, and activity updates flow automatically. Here is how the pieces fit together.

Think of it as a command hub in the middle. The platform sits at the center, creating secure commands and keeping the worklist in sync. On one side, it talks to PACS to pull the images. On the other, it talks to dictation tools to catch status changes. And whenever needed, it tells Visage to open or close the right study with all the context included. Next, a few more details on how it’s built.
Radiologists should not face another login screen just to view images, so the platform handles secure sign on in the background and Visage opens automatically. The platform passes the exam context directly, so one click in the worklist opens the correct study instantly, no searching required. When a case is finished in the reporting tool, the platform automatically closes it in Visage, keeping the screen clean without extra clicks.
The result in numbers
Before integration, opening a study in the viewer could take 20 to 30 seconds. After integration the same action takes less than 7 seconds. For 40 to 50 exams a day this means many minutes saved for every radiologist.
The real impact is that doctors no longer waste attention on navigating software. They keep their energy for analyzing scans and producing accurate reports. With fewer distractions the risk of mistakes goes down and patients receive results more quickly and with greater confidence.
Bringing it all together
The truth is, connecting systems like Visage 7 is never just plug and play. It takes knowing the quirks of every tool, handling data flows with care, and making security invisible but solid. That is the kind of work our team does best. We take the messy reality of healthcare IT and turn it into something smooth, reliable, and ready to scale.
If you are looking for a partner who can cut through the complexity and actually make your systems work together, we are here for that conversation.
